Jakarta (Antara) – Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia investigated Russia to work on the Oil and Gas (Migas) project, when he accompanied Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto on a trip to Saint Petersburg, Russia.
“We invite Russian strategic partners to be involved in new field exploration (oil and gas) and findings of the gas reserve,” said Bahlil, Antara from Jakarta confirmed on Friday.
The energy sector is one of the points of discussion during the meeting.
The two countries are interested in being involved in the construction of the exploration and liquid natural gas production project or (liquid natural gas/LNG) in the supply of oil.
The exploration of the cooperation is expected to be able to offer benefits for both parties, especially when stimulating national oil and gas lift according to the goals set by Prabowo to realize Energie himself species species.
To achieve this goal, the Russian government offers modernization of oil and gas infrastructure.
This modernization includes the use of the latest technology to optimize wells that are considered less productive.
