St. Petersburg, Russia (Antara) – The government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Russian Federation Government agreed to four cooperation documents whose announcements were seen by President Prabowo Subianto and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In the series of official visits of President Pabowo in the Palace of Constantovskiy, St. Petersburg, the procession of the exchange of four cooperation documents was held before a joint press statement by President Pabowo and President Putin.
The MOU has been agreed by Indonesia and Russia comprises:
1. Approval of cooperation in the field of higher education between the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia and the Ministry of Science and Russian Higher Education;
2. memorandum mutual understanding of transport in the field of transport between the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Indonesia and the Russian Ministry of Transport;
3. Memorandum Mutual understanding of cooperation in the field of digital development and mass media between the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Digital and the Ministry of Digital Development, Communication and the Russian mass media;
4. NOTA concept between and between the Russian direct investment fund on the establishment of the Indonesia-Russian investment platform worth 2 billion euros.

“I want to underline Indonesia is an important partner of Russia in the Asia -Pacific region,” said President Putin, giving a joint press statement in the Palace of Constantinovsky on Thursday.
Putin later said that the trade volume of Indonesia and Russia increased by 40 percent during the first 4 months this year, compared to last year’s $ 4.3 billion figure compared to last year.
In the same event, President Pabowo was of the opinion that cooperation between Indonesia and Russia had experienced a significant increase in all areas.
President Pabowo also considered his meeting with President Putin Intens, Warm and Productive.
In the Palace of Konstantinovskiy, President Pabowo was also accompanied by a number of state officials, namely Foreign Minister Sugiono, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, Minister of Defense Shafie Sjamsoeddin, Coordinating Minister Zulga Hasarto.
There were also Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman, Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid, Minister of Investments and downstream and CEO and between Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology Brian Yuliarto, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia.
