Jakarta (Antara) -No fewer than 55 names are determined as candidates for the All Star Indonesian League players, who will later be selected 30 players to strengthen the team on the Presidential Cup 2025, as quoted on the official PSSI website on Thursday.
The selection process is openly performed by the opinion mechanism. All national football fans can vote to determine the players who participate in the All Star Indonesian League team.
Persija Jakarta and Bhayangkara FC became the club with the most number of players on the list. Both teams each sent seven names.
Van Persija Jakarta were the names that were nominated Andrritany Ardhiyasa, Rio Fahmi, Hansamu Yama, Hanif Shahbandi, Gholy Zahaby, Witan Sulaiman and Riko Simanjuntak. While Bhayangkara FC was represented by Arief Satria, Andi Sceyo, Firza Andika, Rizki Sani, Tengku Ichsan, Dendy Sulistyawan and Ilija Spasojevic.
The Presidential Cup 2025 takes place on July 6-13. This tournament was held in two stadiums, namely the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung, and the Bung Karno Main Stadium (Sugbk), Jakarta, that will be the location of the opening match.
The Indonesian League All Star is a member of group A with Arema FC and Oxford United. While group B is filled by Persib Bandung, Dewa United and Port FC.
