Moscow (Antara) – No less than 60 percent of the United States citizens (American) refused the intervention of the country in the conflict between Israel and Iran, according to the results of the polls performed by Yougov and the economist.
On Tuesday, the Axios News Portal reported that US President Donald Trump seriously considered the opportunity of the US involved in the Middle East conflict, including the launch of an attack on the nuclear facilities of Iran, in particular the underground uranium enrichment center in Fordow.
Only 16 percent of respondents in the poll supported the involvement of the US Army, while the other 24 percent claimed not to know or not determine the attitude.
On the other hand, the majority of respondents (56 percent) supports the involvement of the US in negotiations with Iran with regard to the nuclear program in the country, while 18 percent of the other respondents are against.
The survey was conducted on 13-16 June with more than 1500 respondents from the entire US.
