Kai: The Porong Sidoarjo Railroad is safe, even if it is influenced by the flood



Sidoarjo, East Java (Antara) – PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Kai) of the 8th Operation Area (Daop) Surabaya ensured that the railway line in the Porong -District, Sidoarjo, East Java, which was passed on in a safe condition and with limited speed.

“After checking the field on Tuesday morning, the path was declared safely to be crossed at a limited speed,” Kai Daop 8 Public Relations manager Surabaya told Antara in Sidoarjo on Tuesday.

He explained that the train can currently cross the area at a maximum speed of 40 kilometers per hour (km/hour).

Earlier it received Daop 8 Surabaya Railway Travel Operations Control Center (Pusdal OPKA) a report from the Mutiara Timur Railroad Crew (ASP) about the flood that hindered the rail speed in the km 32+4/5 railway between Porong Station and Tanggulangin station.

As a result of these conditions, five train drips experienced delays with the total accumulation of delays up to 366 minutes.

The five trains are KA 453 commuter line SUPAS, KA 425 Forens Line Penataran, KA 33 Pandalungan, KA 412 Commuter Line Dhoho and KA 2628 Ketle Fuel Oil (BBM).
