Pakistan supports Iran, urges the Muslim world to unite with Israel



Moscow (Antara) – Foreign Ministers of 20 Arab countries and Muslims called for Israeli attacks on Iran to be stopped and emphasized the importance of preventing attacks at nuclear facilities.

This was transferred to a joint statement issued on Monday (6/16), as quoted by the Egyptian news agency Mena.

The 20 countries are Egypt, Jordan, Pakistan, Bahrain, Brunei, Turkey, Chad, Algeria, Komoro, United Arab Emirates, Djibouti, Saudi -Aarabia, Sudan, Somalia, Iraq, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Libya and Muritania.

Foreign ministers from these countries emphasize the need to stop Israeli hostility against Iran, especially in the midst of increasing regional tension, according to the statement.

They also called for nuclear conversations with Iran immediately to continue and emphasize the importance of maintaining freedom of navigation in international waters.

“Ministers also warned that they did not focus on nuclear facilities under the supervision of the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency), and asked all parties to immediately return to the negotiating table as the only way of the nuclear agreement with Iran in a sustainable way,” the statement wrote.
