Minister LH again asked RDF Rorotan to serve immediately

So everything that needs to be done Jakarta is only separated, organic and inorganic waste. It should have been completed

Jakarta (Antara) – Minister of Environment (LH) Hanif Faisol Nurofiq again asked the provincial government of DKI Jakarta to immediately operate the Rorotan Derved Fuel (RDF) waste with Rorotan raw materials that were absorbed.

“We have printed what it should be to be operational. The system and the technological machine that I saw directly in the stuff should be, should be ProvenBut indeed the waste does not mix, “said Minister of LH Hanif/head of the Hanif Environmental Control Agency (BPLH) in an assessment of the industrial area in East Jakarta on Monday.

Waste that is transferred between organic and inorganic, he explained, will be a better raw material for RDF Rorotan, which is confronted with protests from residents because of the scent caused some time ago during the operation attempt.

“So everything that needs to be done in Jakarta is only separate, organic and inorganic waste. That should have been completed,” Hanif added.

Minister Hanif had previously asked that the facility was operated as quickly as possible during a visit to the Rorotan RDF on 19 May. He wants the facility to operate faster than the aim of the provincial government of DKI Jakarta to start activities in September of this year.

He said that efforts to manage waste in Jakarta, which produce an estimated 8,000 tons of waste per day, require serious management. Given the Bantargebang Integrated Waste Management Place (TPST) that contains Jakarta’s waste, the capacity has now exceeded.

Specifically, Hanif emphasizes the dangers caused if there is no waste management to reduce the burden on the Bantargebang TPST. Including the potential for landslides and TPA fires during the dry season.

KLH had previously started a criminal process of the Integrated Waste Management Unit (UPST) of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Environment Office in Bantargebang, for alleged breach of the government sanctions to make improvements to the location.

DKI Jakarta Gouverneur Pramono Anung Wibowo said in a statement on May 21 that RDF Rorotan could still not work because in preparation Commission proceeds. He said that the facility surgery needed waste that was still ‘new’ not to cause odors as a complaining about the community.
