Lubuk Basung (Antara) – The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) of the Republic of Indonesia has assigned funds of RP3.72 billion to repair no fewer than 80 units of damaged residential units of the Cold Lava flood of Mount Marapi in Agam Regency, West Sumatra in May 2024.
Head of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Agam Budi Budi Perwira Negara in Lubuk Basung Sunday said the RP3.72 billion fund to repair 54 units heavily damaged houses with RP3.24 billion, and was damaged by six units with RP180 million and Fondsen.

“One residential unit was badly damaged with funds of rp. 60 million, moderately damaged rp. 30 million and slightly damaged rp. 15 million,” he said.
He explained that the repair of the house was as quickly as possible with the target in December 2025.
Then for the construction of a very damaged house through partners who received recommendations from BNPB.
While the construction of moderate and slightly damaged houses is being carried out by the receiving community.

“Payment of the money per period and seeing the progress of the work of the house. The construction of houses should not be at the previous disaster site must be recommended from the geological agency and others,” he said.
He added that the basis of the work of the house was in accordance with the instructions for implementing a ready -to -use financing aid for repairing or rebuilding community houses damaged by disaster number: 5 of 2024 of the BNPB of the Republic of Indonesia.
The 80 residential units are scattered in Sungai Pua, Ampek Angkek, Canduang, Banuhampu and Malalak.
Earlier, the number of houses was damaged by the cold lava flood of Mount Marapi, no fewer than 258 units based on data collected from the Nagari or the village government, with initial development funds allocated by BNPB of RP6.82 billion.
Then, verification and validation of initial data carried out by the team from the Agam BPBD, the Agam Housing and Settlement Office, Bappeda, the Department of Public Works Spatial Planning and others, accompanied by the Central BNPB via the Hinaris program.
The data is matched with data about the population and the Civil Registry Office (DisdukCapil).

Subsequently determined on the basis of name and address or by name at address (BNBA) and the data is determined by the decision of the Regent.
In addition, the process to get damaged data is verified and validated to match damage with the Damage category by 20-30 percent with mild damage, 30-70 moderate damage and 70 and higher serious damage.
Verification and validation of data to ensure that they should not be double using integrated relocation houses, UN rental houses, houses in the house, not double with their wives or children and others.
“80 houses were found from the verification and validation,” he said.
