Tehran (Antara) -Iranian Islamic Revolution Guards (IRGC) Garda Corps On Saturday (6/14) Local Time launched a “Large -Scale combined offensive operation” against Israel, involving a large number of missiles and drones, as reported.
The IRGC Aerospace Division carried out the attack and stated that the attack was a reaction to the “repeated aggression” of Israel on Iran, according to Sepah News.
In Israel, a rocket met a residential building in the northern community, killing a woman and 13 others were injured, according to Magen David Adom (MDA), Israeli Medical Service for National Emergency situations.
A number of other people suffered less to moderate injuries and four people were treated as a result of anxiety disorders, MDA said.
Earlier that day, MDA reported that at least three people were killed and 204 others were injured since Iran’s attack began.
After the wave of the last attack, the Israeli domestic front command transferred to residents outside Haifa and the northern region that they can get out of the bomb protection, but have to stay in a protected area.
The Israeli army stated that the air defense system actively intercepted the incoming projectile, while the Israeli Air Force units attacked military goals in Tehran.
The Iranian Ministry of Petroleum confirmed that two oil depots in Tehran were the target of the attack. Residents reported two powerful explosions in the Iranian capital, with an explosion that was felt in the western and northern districts. The ministry said that the situation was ‘controlled’.
In the meantime, Jordan temporarily closed his air area on Saturday evening local time as a preventive action after a series of Iranian missiles. The Jordanian Civil Aviation Commission has announced that the move was taken to guarantee the safety of civil aviation.
Iranian attacks were carried out in exchange for Israeli air strikes on Friday (6/13) morning local time, focused on Tehran and a number of other cities.
The Iranian authorities said that the Israeli attack resulted in the death of various senior military commanders, nuclear scientists and dozens of citizens.
