The prize won the first RP5 billion won, the second winner was RP3 billion, the third winner was RP2 billion, fourth place was RP1 billion
Jakarta (Antara) – Chairman of the 2025 Presidential Cup committee Maruarar Sirait ensured that the preset season tournament was attended by six teams consisting of four Indonesian teams and two foreign teams, with a prize from RP5 billion for the champion team.
“The prize won the first to RP5 billion, second place was RP3 billion, third place was RP2 billion, fourth place was RP1 billion,” said Maruarar reporters on the Emtek Office, Jakarta, Thursday.
The seventh edition of the tournament starts at the beginning of July, with the opening match in the Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta.
After the opening in Sugbk, other competitions are held in Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Soreeang, Bandung Regency.
“I have already checked Bandung, we have checked Gbla (Gelora Bandung Lautan API), apparently not conducive in terms of grass,” said Maruarar.
“I am the same as Mr Dedi (Governor of West Java Dedi), two weeks ago I was there, with Mr. Farhan (Mayor Badung Muhammad Farhan. We conclude that Gbla is not ready. So we go to the Jalak Harupat,” he added.
The Indonesian Housing and Settlement Minister was reluctant to reveal the six teams that would participate in the tournament.

He only replied that he would announce the case on Friday afternoon at 11 am at a press conference.
As far as two foreign teams are concerned, Maruarar said that the goal of his party invited them to be that local clubs played against foreign teams.
This year’s edition is the first edition of the Presidential Cup, followed by foreign clubs.
“The reason I think is good, so that we also compete with (teams) abroad as our national team country. In this way our clubs are also used to playing with foreign clubs,” he explained.
The number of teams in this edition is certainly the least compared to earlier editions.
In the first edition in 2015 there were 16 teams that participated and raised to 20 teams in the second edition (2017), Third (2018) and Fourth (2019). Then reduced again to 18 teams in the fifth edition (2022) and then eight teams in the last edition (2024).
Arema became the most successful team because they won the tournament four times in 2017, 2019, 2022 and 2024.
