Pabowo was invited to the Canadian G7 -TOP, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: proof of the worldwide position of the Republic of Indonesia



Jakarta (Antara) – The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the invitation to President Prabowo Subianto to attend the 51st G7 High -Level Conference (Summit) in Alberta, Canada, reflects the importance of the position of Indonesia at the global level.

“The invitation shows that Indonesia is seen as a meaning in the current global political arena, given that the invitation of the G7 is limited to non-members of the Netherlands,” said the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Rolliansyah “Roy” Roy “Roy” Roy “Soemirat in the media-taxi on Thursday.

Roy said that Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney specifically invited president Pabowo to attend the “outreach” session of the G7 top.

He added that in addition to Indonesia, several other non-members of the members had been invited to participate in the G7 Summit session.

He was still unable to confirm whether the presence of President Pabowo could be represented by other High -Ranking Indonesian officials, given that this was determined by the host country.

Although he could not fulfill the invitation, President Pabowo had transferred the support of Indonesia for the G7 and the 51st G7 top this year when I spoke with PM Carney by telephone a few days ago.

“Indonesia continues to strengthen the reinforcement of different cooperation between G7 and other non-G7 countries, in particular related to global challenges,” said Roy, related to one of the things that the President of the Republic of Indonesia is currently conveying.

In his written statement on 7 June, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya ensured that President Pabowo had officially accepted the invitation of the G7 top in Alberta, Canada.

According to Teddy, President Pabowo was invited to participate as a guest of honor in the prestigious forum for the advanced economic countries in the world.

G7 is an international forum consisting of seven countries with the largest economy in the world, namely Italy, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Great Britain and the United States, plus the European Union.
