Spain is the fifth country of Europe in Investment in IoT, only behind Germany, the United Kingdom, France and Italy, according to IDC data. The predictions suggest that the internet market of things will reach 23,000 million euros in 2020.

Perception, however, is, just like in sport, the eternal promise for emerging. “You have to adjust a lot of designs, adjust parameters and that is why many IoT ideas remain in the inkll,” says Ángel Sánchez Díaz, Co -Founder and general director of Geeksme.

A well -known concept that was born at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a revolution is directly in relationships between objects and people, even under objects, that they connect between them and with the network and Real -Time offer data.

With twenty years old, the IoT is still not used. “In Spain there is a huge shortage of these types of companies and knows what this is,” adds Geeksme Co -Founder. This is how this Spanish startup was born. “What we did was get a first product on the market and call the attention, because if you are a startup, you have limit sources and you have to be different and attract attention,” says Sánchez.

They started their professional career in the great company, left mobile telephony and reached the IOT world. First with a smartwatch that measured sexual performance and then with an intelligent mattress. Now they are being planted on the market with the solution to change every object intelligently. “Universall arises as a ripening process,” says Geeksme’s father. “For 2 years we think how we can take over an ecosystem for the industry that for when someone has an idea that that idea can be carried out quickly,” he adds.

With the Universall Ecosystem, companies can benefit from IoT technology to develop concrete solutions without making high development costs or to devote long periods to its implementation. Companies and end users can finally acquire solutions that offer value and solve real needs.

The new system consists of hardware and software devices that “meet 80% or 90% of the needs of the industry.” By means of small 3 -centimeters sensors of diameters, each object is linked to control the activity. «They are equipped with Bluetooth 5 technology and can measure the movement thanks to the gear meter, gyroscope and compass. They also have a push button and a multicolored LED that informs about the different states: including data transmission or battery level, ”details of the company.

All information recorded in these quarks, which are mentioned, are transferred by Bluetooth to a mobile app designed by Geeksme. “The information is always the user,” they explain. “Much of the potential of this ecosystem lies in the analysis of the big data, which combines the data to generate statistics and aggregated and anonymous reports that allow to have a global vision and to increase company information,” they add.

“Making an intelligent object makes no sense, what makes sense is the case of use,” remembers Ángel Sánchez. Geeksme is working on the development of five applications that will be available next spring.

The most important thing is Universall Care, which is aimed at monitoring the elderly who live alone. «The different sensors are located in the usual places of the house, such as the bed, the entrance door to the house, the fridge, the chair, the bathroom door or the medicine cabinet. It will be known whether the expected routine actions are being carried out or whether on the contrary there is an unusual activity, “says the company.

The rest of the applications focuses on work as a universal room to make a more efficient use of common areas, meeting rooms and jobs in companies. Universall Retail to help small and large companies.

And two new home systems: Universall Stars, with which you can know the quality of peace and help you sleep better, and universally safe, which offers the possibility to know in real time whether a storage space has been opened.
