Jakarta (Antara) – The Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC) of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) reported that it released an import duties of 1,800 Indonesian pilgrims.

In addition, the release of import duties and PDRI for goods brought by pilgrims. Based on PMK 34/2025 for regular pilgrims, it gets a whole release, while for special pilgrims, release is given to a maximum of 2500 US dollars.
In the meantime, the willingness of customs and excise duties in the arrival service of pilgrims is being realized by the optimization of operational aspects, with the existence of a Task Force in any dismissal to ensure that the arrival process is carried out according to the established service standards.
Customs also offers a special service desk for pilgrims who require the completion of the customs approval process, in particular for the nature of goods, such as HKT (mobile phones, handheld computers and tablets), as well as merchandise that must be subject to import rights.
All supervision is selectively carried out using X -rays and risk assessment tools to guarantee the flexible process without ignoring security aspects.
