2018 was the flourishing of electric scooters and a lot of guilt is Xiaomi with more than 560,000 units sold, as reported by China this weekend before the Mobile World Congress started. The lime, wind, voi, koko and the one who wants to add a Spanish are added: reby.

Two giants appear behind these four letters: Mobike and Tesla. And a visible face: Pep Gómez. This young 27 -year -old businessman has proposed “to bring about a revolution in urban mobility.” An adventure that contributes to his extensive curriculum.

With just 20 years, he founded a fever with which he managed to lift more than 34 million euros in financing. “I always liked to drive things,” Gomez told Innova+. But her curiosity dates from her adolescence, because she started her first business adventure with 15 years and with 17 culminated after she had traveled to Silicon Valley and had set up her first company.

Now with Faver in his curriculum and after the management of the investment arm of the Mobile World Capital (NUMA) “it is a unique experience,” says the young entrepreneur, is launched in the urban mobility market. “The goal is to bring about a revolution in the first and final miles and urban infrastructure,” he adds.

A struggle of giants opposite the American Lime or the Swedish VOI and also administrations. “There are many political parties that fill their mouths with sustainability, but everyone knows that this has come to stay,” explains the founder of Rby

However, Reby arrives with a different idea than that of his competitors. The vehicle has an autonomy of 18 months of life and also builds their own devices. “We are a manufacturer of electric vehicles,” he says.

However, the operation is similar. Reby works with an app that is available on iOS and Android platforms. The platform also has a map in which you can see the electric scooters near the user. To unlock them, the QR code is scanned.

The project is in the test phase in Barcelona and San Cougat and will be implemented this year in cities such as Madrid, Zaragozay Valencia, as explained by the CO Founder of the Startup.

Moreover, the company also prepares the launch of shared car and motorcycle service.

Entrepreneurship in Spain

Without reaching 30 years, Gomez collects various successes in his professional history, especially the launch of fever. «While you are driving on other projects, you learn on the basis of error test and it is the best way to try things. Wrong and get up again, “he says.

His jump to the United States for him was fundamental: “They are a few years ahead in entrepreneurial experience,” he explains. “There is more capital than here and is smarter and with more experience,” he adds.

However, it is optimistic with the entrepreneurial situation in Spain. «It has many qualities, we have a good quality of life and that is a focus of attraction to set up companies. We have a very good scientific talent and universities, “he says.
