Jakarta (Antara) – Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia said that the Bintuni Bay Regency, known as the National Energy Barn because it supplies more than a third of Indonesia’s gas needs, receives extra oil and gas wins -sharing funds from 2027.
While attending the 22nd birthday of Bintuni Bay Regency in Bintuni Bay, West -Papuea, Wednesday, Bahlil took care of the dedication of the government to Bintuni Bay and Fakfak.
“Today I came to visit Genting Oil and BP Tangguh. In 2027 I made sure that the addition of profit sharing funds for Bintuni and Fakfak started to come on Wednesday,” Bahlil was quoted as from a press statement in the Ministry in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Bahlil also emphasized the size of the regional budget of Bintuni Bay (APBD) that reached RP3.1 Biljoen.
According to him, this figure is fairly “jumbo” for the size of a district, and is even almost the same as the West -Papua province APBD of RP3.5 trillion. Bahlil said that the big Bintuni APBD from DBH oil and gas came into the district.
“The difference is that the Governor of RP3.5 Biljoen 7 manages 7 districts. Pak Regent 24 District,” said Bahlil.
Bahlil also indicated that this visit was part of an attempt to continue to increase the regional original income (path) of the Bintuni Bay Regency.
“Do you want to add more path? That’s why I came here,” he said.
On that occasion, Bahlil recalled that the increase in energy production in Bintuni Bay was part of the Astacita president Prabowo-Gibran.
“There are four programs from President Pabowo in Astacita, there are at least four that are always discussed. The first is food sovereignty, the second is energy, the third is downstream and the fourth is nutritious food,” said Bahlil.
Of these four programs, two of them became the duty of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
“The two in the US are related to energy sovereignty and downstream,” said Bahlil.
