The Ministry of the Interior simplifies the process of business licenses and management of natural resources in the regions



Jakarta (Antara) – The Ministry of the Interior (Kemendagri) continues to simplify the business license process in the regions, including in the use of natural resources (SDA).

Secretary -General (Secretary General) of the Ministry of the Interior Tomsi Tohir in a statement in Jakarta said on Wednesday that one of the steps taken from this issue, namely compiling a timeline for accelerating licenses that had to be carried out by the Regional Government (Pemda).

He said that the slow license process was often a problem with regional development.

“Subsequently, the coordination of the implementation (services) in the regions and in the center,” he said when he received an audience that participated in the XXV National Leadership Education (P3N) in 2025 Lemhannas Ri in the meeting room of a leadership a 1st floor of the Ministry of the Interior)).

The Ministry of the Interior also draws up the standard operational procedure (SOP) of license services, so that it takes place quickly, cheap and transparent.

Moreover, it also pays attention to community reports with regard to license services and it encourages local authorities to optimize the function of the Public Service Mall (MPP) in providing business licensing services.

He mentioned a number of regions that were considered successful in providing services via MPP, also in the License aspect.

“This shopping center for public service is made that licenses (served) are served in one roof. Then we try to ensure that we even compete (MPP performance),” he said.

With the built system, he hoped that the regional government would no longer be slow to take care of licenses.

He also encouraged various ministries and related institutions that handled licenses to support these gear efforts.

“Because these license requirements are not only determined by the regions, but (also) by the ministry (related),” he said.

He emphasized the importance of technological support in the license process. Do not let the services be done online, which is not optimally executed.

“Via online, but the online is always (the process), in the end it must also be accompanied,” he said.
