The interaction between sunlight and the atmosphere results in a large number of extraordinary optical phenomena: normal rainbow, reflected, horizontal and red, halos, mirrors, dusk colors, crowns, glory, etc. Today we enjoy the glory.

The shadow does not play paper, it only marks the anti -solar point in which a retrodisherion of the light occurs. This effect differs almost 180 degrees. The scientific explanation, with dark points, is much more complex than that of the rainbow. The glory is also seen from a surface when it flies above the clouds. They appear the colored circles around their shadow. They can also be seen with artificial light, in the fog, etc.

The first attempt to explain was based on the fact that the incident light enters the drop due to a refraction on the surface (a change of direction), is followed by a reflection inside and a new refraction suffers. In small technical words: Incident Light Rays are bent in their journey through the drop and leave the incident beam. However, the ability of water to bend the rays is not sufficient to get in the same direction of the incident beam.

A second explanation assumes that when they reach the drop, the rays behave like a wave for a very short time. During that time they make a small curved journey on the surface of the gout, before they enter the interior, where they experience a reflection. When leaving the drop, before they leave it, they also make the small curved tour. However, this effect, which can take place, is not sufficient to explain the contribution to the general energy that is seen in glory and therefore that the output bar does it in the same direction as the incident.

A third explanation is a mathematical theory of the spread of light, but without information about the physics that underlies the phenomenon. Information that has been achieved with the inclusion of a tunnel effect in the classic waves. A concept of quantum physics: an interaction between a wave of volatile light that travels along the surface of the drop, with the waves experiencing reflections within the drop. With this effect, the theory meets the demand for glory; That the light that comes in and comes out of the gout, does this in the same direction and the opposite direction.
