Jakarta (Antara) – The United Nations (UN) expressed deeply concerned about the escalation of conflicts between Iran and Israel who recently claimed hundreds of lives and threatened the stability of the Central East region. The company and the call response on chorus were supplied by a number of UN height points during the emergency meeting of the Security Council on Friday (6/13) at the UN headquarters, New York, after the massive air strikes of Israel to the Iranian region.
Director -General of the International Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Gossi during the meeting emphasized the serious impact of Israel’s attack on Iran’s most important nuclear facilities in Natanz. He revealed that the uranium enrichment facility in Natanz suffered serious damage with radiological and chemical contamination.
“I repeatedly stated that nuclear facilities should not be a target of attack under all circumstances. This kind of attack is not only in danger, but also the environment,” Grossi said by Al Jazeera.
Although contamination is considered to be checked with the right steps, Gossi declared IAEA’s willingness to send a nuclear security team to help secure the location if I was asked by Iran. He also called on all parties to show “maximum detention” to prevent further escalation.

In the meantime, deputy Secretary General of the United Nations for Political Affairs and Peace Development, Rosemary Dicarlo, emphasized on the same occasion that the peaceful scheme by diplomacy remains the only best way to guarantee the peaceful character of Iran’s nuclear program.
“We must avoid wider conflicts that have a major impact on global peace and safety,” said Dicarlo.
On the Forum of the Security Council, Iran said through the ambassador Amir Saeid Iravani that the Israeli attack was a “war declaration” and “direct attack on the international order”. He reported that at least 78 Iranians were killed and that more than 320 others were injured in the attack.
Iravani also accused the United States of the United States as a party responsible for the attack for providing information and political support to Israel. “Support for Israel is the same as supporting war crimes,” he said.
In response to the accusation, the United States, McCoy Pitt, denied the American military involvement in attacks. But he defended Israel’s actions as a form of self -defense, while he warned that Iran would have serious consequences if it attacks the interests of the US.

On the other hand, Israel stated by his representative, Danny Danon, that the attack on the nuclear facilities of Iran was a “national rescue” step. He claimed that Iran was about to produce different nuclear bombs and that the attack was carried out to prevent possible existential threats for his country.
“How long does the world hope that we are silent? Until the bomb has been collected? Until Shab rocket -rackets wear the core head to Tel Aviv?” Danon said in a statement that was delivered when a counterattack from Iran was underway.
The tensions of the two countries increased after Iran had launched rocket attacks in various regions of Israel, such as Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa, in response to air strikes that have killed a number of high military officials and Iranian nuclear scientists.
The United Nations called for the termination of violence and the return of both parties to the negotiating table by various statements from its officials. Until now, the UN Security Council has not issued an official resolution with regard to the conflict, but the international pressure so that the two countries do not continue to increase.
The United Nations emphasized its dedication to continue to facilitate dialogue to maintain regional peace and to prevent the widespread conflict from fearing to cause a great war in the middle East.
