Jakarta (Antara) – National Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Pabowo joked to find a replacement for the deputy head of the police, which was similar to the deputy head of police Komjen Pol. Ahmad Dofiri who retired in June.
“I want to find (Wakapolri) that is similar to him (Ahmad Dofiri),” Sigit joked on the Bhayangkara field at the National Police Head Quarter, Jakarta, Saturday.
The national police chief then said that he just wanted to ask the candidate for the name of the deputy head of the police to Ahmad Dofiri.
“I just want to ask him (Ahmad Dofiri),” he immediately turned to the deputy head of the police who was next to him.
On various occasions Chief Inspector -General Pol. Sandi Nugroho said his party had prepared a number of names of new deputy police chief to replace Ahmad Dofiri.
Previously Komjen Pol. Ahmad Dofiri was named Wakapolri on November 13, 2024 based on the mutation in the telegram letter with the number ST/2517/XI/KEP./2024.
Ahmad Dofiri was previously the Inspector of the National Police General Supervision and was the deputy head of the police to replace Agus Anrianto who currently serves as Minister of Immigration and Corrections in the Red and White Cabinet.
