Jakarta (Antara) – PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol TBK held a series of events with art and cultural activities with the theme “Wonder of Jakarta” in the Ancol Taman Impian Tourism Destination Area in extension of Jakarta’s 498th birthday.
“Taman Impian presents a series of events that not only entertain, but also reflect on the diversity, innovation and spirit of collaboration of residents of Jakarta,” said business communication of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol TBK Daniel Windmoko in Jakarta on Saturday.

He said that the main event this year was “Wonders of Jakarta”, which will be held on Sunday (6/22) from 18:30 at the Ancol Festival Beach with Jakarta’s treats.
According to him, this event became part of the peak of the 498th birthday of Jakarta, which took place in different cities at the same time.
Daniel also invited all residents of Jakarta to celebrate by singing together and dancing together with Ancol Taman Impian by showing the DangDut Nusantara orchestra.
In addition, the Fantasy of Dufan World Recreation Unit also celebrated the excitement of Jakarta’s 498th birthday with the Batavia Fest event that started at 10:00 to 20:00 Wi.
Batavia Fest presents events that reflect the journey of cultural acculturation of the Dutch East Indies era to the Batavia era.

According to Daniel, the Batavia Fest was opened with a door stop, then the appearance of the brother of Mpok Jakarta followed by the theatrical versions of ‘Journey to Batavia Parade’ accompanied by the movement of the Batavia Dance Dance.
“This activity was closed with a fireworks show or fireworks party at night,” he said.
Moreover, the art exhibition ‘Jakarta Local Soul’ was also held as a form of expression of artists to give the color of Jakarta to the global and cultivated city.
