Sanaa, Yemen/Istanbul (Antara) – The Houthi group in Yemen threatened to attack the ships of the United States (US) in the Red Sea if the USA helped Iran.
“If the US is involved in attacking or launching aggression against Iran with Israeli enemies, our forces will focus on their goods and warships in the Red Sea,” said Military Spokesperson for Houthi, Yahya Saree, in a speech on television (21/6).
He said that Houthi troops continued to follow all movements in the region, including hostile actions against Yemen, and take legitimate steps to protect their home country.
“Every American attack on Iran to help Israel cannot be left without a response because it gives Israel the opportunity to control the entire region,” said Saree.
The US government has not yet responded to the threat of Houthis.

Last May the US and the Houthi Group agreed with a cease -the fire that was still valid.
On Wednesday, the Maariv Daily reported that Israeli officials prepared for the possibility of attacking Fordow without having to wait for the US approval.
Tensions in the middle -old rose since Friday (6/13) morning, when Israel launched air strikes to a number of locations in Iran, including military and nuclear facilities. Iran reported that 430 people were killed and more than 3,500 were injured in the attack.
The Israeli attack was later rewarded by Iran, with at least 25 people killed and hundreds of others were injured, according to Israel.
