The technique used in the cheap basic rice fields is divided into mulch without soil (mtot), ie the remaining straw of harvests is not burned, but previously collected and used as a mulch (bottom cover) to maintain moisture and soil fertility.
Then make a trench width of the hoe with a distance between the trench of approximately 125 cm for water regulation. Selection of rice seeds is done by the method of salt water and eggs to guarantee good quality of seeds.
The planting of seedlings is done at the age of 12-14 days after seedling and for water management is carried out by running water in the fields so as not to be flooded to prevent toxic reactions to plants.
