Amaral defines it as “paradise”, where they intended “not to enter the ugly and there was only the beauty of life”.
A concert with a magnificent scenery will be a large format and a long time. The evening promises many emotions. Amaral with three decades of career continues to lose talent, quality and emotions.
This tour is a celebration of your music career and the latest achievements. What does Dolce Vita Tour do special?
This tour was born as the idea of visual and sound catharsis around 15 songs of our latest album Plus another 15, which pass through the previous band albums. It is intended as a photo here and now. It collects 2025 sounds and another of the previous times that we do not live. It is basically a way to travel and enjoy the road, which would be impossible without an incredible band and a great team that supports Follies that can appear to us.
“Dolce Vita” is a concept that evokes pleasure, luxury and life without fear. How does this idea resonate with contemporary philosophy Amaral as bands and in his personal life? What is Dolce Vita for you? Something to do with Fellini’s film?
It is a resignation of the term and also the classic. For us, Dolce Vita has to do with finding beauty, joy and emotional stability in remote places, and especially in small things. It is also related to finding a refuge from the ultra -in -the -world world, looking for balance and peace outside the cliché of society in which we all live immersed.
It is also a song that is part of the album. Everything begins with her, including concerts, and talks about everything that “no one can catch us”.
Do you think that music can be a way to achieve or evoke the feeling of “dolce vita” for those who listen to it? How do you try to achieve your art?
Good question … Music is all you want. Everything can be touched and singing. Everything can be danced. In our case, almost everything we do is irrational, not too much thought. For the concerts we have done so far, we can say that something special happens that goes beyond the stage and that it escapes our control, and that leads us to think that people do a lot of what is happening with our music.
“Color Jump” was focused on Electronic music. Do you return to “Dolce Vita” to your essence? Is it the album “those before”?
Without all previous albums it would not be possible. There are techniques of recording from different era; Many of them have to do with a digital revolution that expands the sound options every day. We feel it is an album 2025 for the sound and for the stories it tells. When I remember what these years have been, you can see some TV series or some albums and everyone will give an idea of the strange times we live in.
Freedom is one of the main topics of “Dolce Vita”; first two song Albums are “free” and “like me”. Has the defense of beauty became a subversive act? Do you think art is still space for freedom?
Art is above all an expression of many feelings: irony, love, breaking the heart, the idea that you can laugh at everything and the opportunity to talk about everything you remember. There is even a possibility that you do not talk about anything, just give a rhythm and dance. Sometimes not everything goes through letters, you can make a sound that is beautiful, mysterious or aggressive, and this is already a form of communication. Other times, the lyrics are everything and all the sounds must be on duty.

“It could have been me,” it contains emotional honor to Victor Spring. How did the song come from? What will come?
“He could be me” talks about the chance, and all those people who could have been in the same situation as Victor Jar, without knowing how it happened very well. We wanted to honor the character of the Chilean singer, the Universal Icon and, by the way, pay tribute to the southern cone, the first part of the world we arrived with our music when they left our country.
You define this album as a “paradise where to be free”. What does he do that “instead of dreams”? What message do you want to tell?
Of course there were two paradise for us. The album was born in very different places and it was like an immense game by mixing everything that inspired us, and we would like it to be the same for all people who listen to it.
