PLN deposited RP65.59 trillion on the land during 2024



Jakarta (Antara) – PT PLN (Perso) deposited RP65.59 trillion to the country during 2024 by dividends, taxes and non -tax income (PNBP), as described in the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS).

“We want to ensure that every step of PLN is able to offer optimum results for all stakeholders, in particular the State as the most important shareholder,” PLN President Darmawan Prasodjo was confirmed by Jakarta.

Based on the GMS, which was held at the Ministry of State Ownership (BUMN), Jakarta, Wednesday (18-8-2025), PLN reported deposits to the State worth RP65.59 trillion.

This figure rose by 17.98 percent compared to 2023.

At the GMS of the tax year of 2024, PLN registered a dividend deposit to the land of RP3.35 trillion.

Outside the dividend, PLN has also succeeded in contributing to tax revenues of RP62.17 trillion, this amount includes income tax, tax with added value (VAT), seal rights, import duties, as well as regional taxes and regional taxes.

Moreover, PLN has also contributed to the Non -Tax State Revenue (PNBP) worth RP73.68 billion.

Darmawan said that the dividend deposit, tax revenues and PNBP carried out by PLN were a form of business participation in the National Development Agenda.

“This is not only a matter of figures, but also about accountability and trust,” he said.

PLN registered a neat performance during 2024 by achieving a net profit of RP17.76 trillion. This performance was also supported by the turnover of the company that achieved the highest record in history, which was RP545.38 trillion, an increase of 11.90 percent compared to the previous year registered on RP487.38 trillion.

Darmawan explained that sustainable support from the government became an important foundation in dealing with global economic unrest, so that PLN was able to achieve consistently positive performance.

“The government consistently maintains people’s purchasing power and presents an attractive investment ecosystem for business people and industry, so that electricity consumption continues to grow,” said Darmawan.

Moreover, Darmawan emphasized that PLN would continue to implement the government’s mandate in the realization of energy law for all Indonesian people.

PLN strives to present reliable, affordable and fair electrical services to remote areas of the country.

“We believe that access to reliable and high -quality electricity will open more economic opportunities, increase productivity and encourage people’s well -being,” said Darmawan.
