Tehran (Antara) – Iran responded to the explanation of an official of the European Union (EU) who called on the Iran -Israel War, but not criticized Israel who started the conflict.
The spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Esmaeil Baqaei said that De-Escalasi’s efforts would not succeed if Israel was not criticized as the perpetrator of aggression and war crimes.
“Stop becoming an aggressor defender,” Baqaei said in an upload on Tuesday (6/17) and responded to the explanation of high representatives of EU for Foreign Affairs and the security policy of Kaja Kallas.
Earlier on the same social media platform, Kallas said that the EU ministers ‘agreed that Iran could not have nuclear weapons’ and efforts to relieve the situation ‘very urgently’.
Baqaei emphasized that Iran’s nuclear program was completely peaceful and was under the strict supervision of the International Energy Agency (IAEA).

But on the other hand, he said, Israel actually has nuclear weapons and continues to hinder the disarming of weapons in the region.
“How can you worry about the Iranian peaceful program that IAEA is followed, but ignores the fact that the Israeli regime has nuclear weapons?” Baqaei said.
“Iran has never tried to make nuclear weapons. It is precisely the aggressor regime that is the only barrier, so that it is ‘middle -old free of nuclear weapons’ (which has been presented since 1974).”
“How can you say about ‘#de-escalation’ without cursing the aggressor and encouraged them to stop their aggression and war crimes?!” Baqaei said.
Israel launched an attack on the Iranian region on 13 June, which hit a number of facilities and killed citizens and high Iranian military officials.

Baqaei on Tuesday (6/17) visited a hospital in Tehran to meet different people who were injured in Israeli attacks.
While he was there, he said that women and children have become the most victims in recent days.
“All this is a war crime and must be noticed,” he said, stated that Israel, his allies and everyone who justified the aggression should be responsible.
He revealed that Israel had attacked settlements, hospitals and civilian facilities from the start of the aggression.
Some of the attacked facilities are the Loqman Hakim Children’s Hospital in Tehran, hospitals in Kermanshah and the headquarters of the fire brigade in Ilam.
Baqaei also said that Israel had performed aggression without reason for Iran.
If the United Nations and other countries want to help, they must force Israel to stop their crime. That is the demands of the Iranian nation, he said.
