Jakarta (Antara) – The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that dozens of Indonesian citizens who were held in Israel had returned Jordan and Iran safely with the help of the Indonesian embassy (KBRI) Amman.
The director of the protection of the Indonesian citizens (PWNI) of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Judha Nugraha in an online press direction in Jakarta said on Wednesday that 42 pilgrims who were in Jerusalem, Israel had returned to Indonesia by taking land routes for Jordan.
“Then we also noticed that there were eight pilgrims, Indonesian civilians who came from Great -Britain, who were also stuck in Amman, and they had also returned to England,” said Judha.
The PWNI director continued that two pilgrims in Iran, from Iran could come over the road to Pakistan to return to Indonesia.
Moreover, Judha said that his party had held online meetings with Indonesian citizens who were in Iran to investigate their condition and transferred the unforeseen steps drawn up by the Indonesian embassy in Tehran and the central government.
“We can say that the status is indeed alert, but we are always on appeal that Indonesian citizens are always vigilant and always follow the situation and if an escalation occurs, we can increase to be alert and then perform the evacuation process,” Judha explains, Judha explained.
Judha also appealed to all Indonesian citizens in Iran and Israel to always increase consciousness and to control the situation of the official media of the government and also the Indonesian embassy.
He also appealed to the Indonesian citizens to prevent the house from being abandoned for non-essential things and in an emergency contact the Indonesian embassy in Amman and the Indonesian embassy in Tehran.
“For Indonesian citizens who have travel plans to Iran, Israel, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, we propose that they can postpone their journey because in these countries representatives of the Republic of Indonesia have established an alarm status,” Judha explained, “Judha explained.
