JAKARTA (Antara) – The panel of judges of the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court condemned an 11 -year prison sentence and a fine of RP750 million in a prison sentence of convicted lawyer Ronald Tannur, Lisa Rachmat.
Chairman of the panel of judges Rosihan Juhriah Rangkuti in the hearing of the judgment in Jakarta, stated on Wednesday that Lisa Rachmat had been proven to give the judge bribes to influence his client’s decision who was when the suspect of the murder case was.
“The suspect improved against the suspect, so with a prison sentence of 11 years and a fine of RP750 million with the provisions if it was not paid, it was replaced by imprisonment for 6 months,” the judge said.

In this case, Lisa Rachmat was accused of giving bribes to judges in the Surabaya District Court for the amount of RP4.67 billion and head of judges in the Supreme Court of RP5 billion.
