Jakarta (Antara) – Deputy Minister of Finance Suahasil Nazara said that the Budget Free Nutritional Eating Program (MBG) on June 12, 2025 On RP4.4 trillion was distributed on RP4.4 trillion from the first budget of RP71 Biljoene for 2025.

Based on the data from the Ministry of Finance, the distribution of the MBG budget is absorbed by approximately RP300-RP500 billion a month in the first three months of the year, then the value rises with an average of RP1 trillion of March 2025.

In terms of beneficiaries, the MBG program has reached 4.89 million people who are operated by 1,716 Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) or Public Kitchen.
For the record, the MBG budget is planned to reach RP171 trillion for this year, together with the direction of President Prabowo Subianto, who asked the goal of MBG recipients to reach 82.9 million recipients who are served by 32 thousand SPPG from the first goal of 17.9 million recipients.
“We warn an extra budget to RP100 trillion, which we will convey the realization routinely, of course, depending on the speed of the realization of beneficiaries by the National Nutrition Agency,” said Suahasil.
On a separate occasion, chairman of the National Economic Council (Den) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan gave a signal that the MBG program program could penetrate RP300 trillion in 2026.
Luhut said that the assigned MBG budget this year RP171 trillion was aimed at the Java region.
In the meantime, he believes that MBG can accelerate national economic growth, taking into account the fact that the program concerns many economic actors, so that the economic turnover can be increased.
So Luhut encouraged the program to continue to expand his receiver range, including the budget.
