Jakarta (Antara) – Vice -Minister of Agriculture (Wamentan) Sudaryono admitted that he had been appointed as President of PT Pupuk Indonesia through a general meeting of shareholders (GMS) who took place on Monday (16/6).
Sudaryono said that the appointment was a form of assignment, which was previously familiar as chairman of the Bulog Perum Supervision Board, in particular when strengthening the government reserves (CBP).
“Already (accept SK). Yes, that is the assignment, I mean yesterday that I was assigned to Bulog, with the aim of Mem-Push The implementation of Bulog, “said Wamentan Sudaryono, was met after a visit from the Dutch delegation at the office of the Ministry of Agriculture in Jakarta on Tuesday.

According to him, while as chairman of the Bulog Supervisory Board, strategic performance was achieved, such as the awareness of the government’s driving reserves that was 4 million tons and the conversion of grain in rice of more than 2.5 million tons.
He said that the number of reserves and volume of rice absorption was highest in history, which showed a significant increase in national food security during the period of his duties in Bulog.
Now that the Presidential Commissioner of Pupuk Indonesia, Sudaryono has the mandate to strengthen the distribution of subsidized fertilizers that have to reach farmers with prices and amounts according to their rights.
