Tehran (Antara) – Iran will only return to negotiations with the United States If Israel stops his attacks in the middle -east, said Iranian President Masoud Pezishkian Monday (6/17).
“Special American delegates (Steve Witkoff) said (Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Abbas) Araghchi in nuclear negotiations that Israel would not act without the US’s permission,” said Pezishkian in a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
“However, before the new negotiation round started, Israel Iran actually attacked, which showed that the US had given them permission to attack us,” said Pezishkian.
He said that if the US wanted to continue the negotiations, they first have to stop the aggression of Israel against countries in the middle.
He also emphasized that his government did not want the conflict to continue to expand, but would continue to answer every attack that is aimed at Iran.
