Schedule and list of Indonesian national team players at the AVC Nations Cup 2025

Jakarta (Antara) -The Indonesian national team for men’s volleyball will participate in the AVC Nations Cup 2025 event in Isa bin Rashed Hall, Manama, Bahrain, which takes place on June 17-24.

The Indonesian national team lives in Group A with host Bahrain and Thailand. The Garuda team is first confronted with Thailand on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 23:00 WIB.

Thailand is an old Indonesian rival. Both met in 2023 when the competition was still called the AVC Challenge Cup.

At that time, Indonesia (2-3) had to beat after a fierce competition that lasted five rounds. Indonesia rubbed the defeat of the White Elephant State team in another event, namely at the 2025 Sea Games, where Indonesia came out as champions.

Now the two will meet again during the AVC Nations Cup event with the determination to avenge each other’s earlier defeats. After confronting Thailand, Indonesia will challenge the host on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 23:00 WIB.

In terms of ranking the International Volleyball Federation of FIVB, Indonesia, which is in 55th place in the world, is still superior to Bahrain in the 65th rank and Thailand in 63rd place in the world.

Coach coach Jeff Jiang Jie, who was strengthened by the players of Jakarta Bhayangkara Precision as the PLN Mobile Proliga 2025 champion, needed at least one victory from the two games to maintain the opportunity to qualify for the autumn phase.

Some players with big names such as DIO Zulfikri, Farhan Halim, Rivan Nurmulki, who are included in the team, are expected to contribute enormously to bring Indonesia to go far into the championship.
