Jakarta (Antara) – The role of the presence of a BYD M6 vehicle with multiple purposes (MPEV) that is a pure electricity vehicle in the country has been given a fairly positive welcome in a year because it successfully sold to more than 10 thousand people in Indonesia.
“Byd M6 received extraordinary performance in the first year, by reaching (sold) 10,100 units,” said President director of PT BYD Motor Indonesia, Eagle Zhao through his official statement on Monday.
The M6 was present for the first time in Indonesia in July 2024, to coincide with the presence of the Gaikindo Indonesia Internatioal Auto Show (GIIAs) activity. At that time, many parties waited for the presence of the vehicle.
This is because the vehicle can wear a lot of cargo and is considered an ideal vehicle and is suitable for the Indonesian market, where Indonesian consumers love vehicles with a kind of seven passengers.
This vehicle is equipped with sufficient dimensions to support the wishes of Indonesian consumers such as 4,710 mm long, 1,810 mm wide and 1,690 mm high, with a wheelbase along 2,800 mm.

Not only is spacious space, this environmentally friendly vehicle is also equipped with the use of a single electric motor (FWD) with a maximum output of 150 kW and a peak couple of 310 Nm. Acceleration of 0-100 km/h can be achieved in the range of 8.5 seconds with a maximum speed of 180 km/hour.
Regarding the main menu of this vehicle, BYD already uses a battery capacity of 71.8 kWh (LFP – Blade battery). In this way the first MPEV in Indonesia can reach up to 530 km based on NEDC standards.
With these positive comments, his party held a celebration of a year byd M6 preliminary output in Indonesia by inviting its users to spend the night in an open nature reserve in Lido Music & Art, Sukabumi, West Java, Saturday-Sunday (14-15/6).
