Jakarta (Antara) – Minister of Bosbouw (Menhut) Raja July Antoni said that he was increasingly dedicated to carry out the mandate of the state in the field of forestry protection after the award of the traditional degree of Bala Padang Kampbuno Langi Borong, North Toraja.
“I will do my best, I will devote myself as much as possible that I can do to re -execute the mandate mentioned in the title I received,” said Minister Van Bosbouw Raja Antoni in his statement that was received in Jakarta on Sunday.
In the meantime, the traditional title of Bala Padang Kambuno Langi who received the Minister of Forestry himself means a regional leader who is an umbrella or protects the community.
Granting traditional titles is a form of respect for someone who is considered a contribution or service to the community.
King Antoni also thanked him for the traditional title that was given to him. He said that the meaning in the traditional title must be performed properly.
“This is an honor for me, for the family and for the Ministry of Forestry. At the same time, this title is also the responsibility of moral, social and politics for me, that the given title is not just a title, but the meaning must be made there,” said Raja Antoni.
“Namely, the territory of Indonesia and of course Toraja lead in, umbrella and protect the Indonesian people and of course the people of Toraja,” he added.
On the other hand, the representative of the Tongkonan Borong Sumarre Sabandar community said that his party was honored because the Minister of Forestry Raja Antoni had given the status of community forests to the Nanggala Forest.
He said this enables people to return to take advantage of the forest.
“We, this extensive family feels very honorable because the forests in Tandung have received the status of community forests, so we can return to enjoy the Nanggala forest and benefit from management that natural management is responsible,” Samuel said.
