Jakarta (Antara) -Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto on Sunday evening, arrived in Singapore to pay a state visit and to attend the Retraite meeting with Singapore -Prime Minister Lawrence Wong.
“On this evening, Mr. President Prabowo arrived in Singapore about 20 minutes ago and to perform the retreat of the leaders with Singapore Prime Minister Pak Lawrence Wong,” Sugiono Minister said reporters in Singapore on Sunday evening.
Based on the voice recording received in Jakarta, Sugiono said that the agenda of the visit was planned to start on Monday (6/16) Morning Local Time with an official series of activities as part of a state visit.
The president will then continue the retreat agenda of the leaders with Prime Minister Wong.
Sugiono said that the meeting between the two leaders of the country would discuss a number of topics that had previously been communicated at the ASEAN 46th High Level Conference (Summit), in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, at the end of May.
Conversations will be aimed at strengthening bilateral relationships and cooperation between Indonesia and Singapore, with the emphasis on more tangible and concrete results.
“Tomorrow we will start visiting the retreat of the state and the leaders, and hopefully all events will go smoothly according to what is planned,” concluded Sugiono.
It is known, President Pabowo, together with a limited group, left for Singapore, Sunday afternoon, in the context of a state visit.

Upon arrival in Singapore, President Pabowo is planned to keep a number of important agendas on Monday (6/16).
President Pabowo will be officially welcomed in a state ceremony by Singapore President, thharman Shanmugaratnam, which was held in the Singapore Parliament House.
The state ceremony at the same time marks close diplomatic relations between the two countries. Moreover, President Pabowo will also perform a courtesy call with President Thharman in a series of visits.
“Not only a meeting with the president of Singapore, it is planned that President Pabowo also attended a bilateral leadership meeting with the Prime Minister of Singapore, Lawrence Wong,” said deputy for protocol, press and media secretariat of President Yusuf Permana.
This visit is a strategic momentum to strengthen the partnerships of Indonesia and Singapore in various sectors.
