Karangasem, Bali (Antara) – The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) said that the Free Nutritive Eating Program (MBG) was one of the basis of building healthy young people in accordance with the vision of Indonesia EMAS 2045.
“This Program is expected to support the vision of Indonesia EMAS 2045 by Creating a Healthy, Intelligent and Strong Generation,” Said Director of Promotion and Education of BGN Gunalan Dooring the Socialization of the MBG Program in Tianyar, Bali, Sunday.
According to him, the MBG program in line with the vision of Indonesia was 2045 with tArget Creating a generation that can bring Indonesia into a developed country.
The MBG program, he said, was also designed to be able to solve the problems of the poverty, the economy that was not evenly distributed, the quality of Human Resources (HR) and new jobs.

He considered the fulfillment of good nutrition had a direct influence on children’s ability, especially on learning, increasing quality nutrition and the quality of human resources.
The MBG socialization was held at Wantilan (Balai) Tianyar Traditional Village that was also attended by member of the House of Representatives Commission IX Tutik Kusuma Wardhani and local entrepreneur of Bali Tangi, Yuliani Jayanegara.
Tutik said that the House of Representatives has supported the IX MBG committee to suppress nutrition problems in the country, such as stunting and Malanutrition confronted with children.
He thought the program could be an important pillar in supporting a healthy, productive and ready to compete the young generation.
BNG, together with other relevant agencies, including representatives of the people, strengthened the socialization of MBG in a number of regions in the country since the program was launched in January 2025 and the awareness was carried out in a number of regions.
It focuses on the MBG program to cover 82.9 million people in 2027.
BGN noted that since it was launched on 6 January 2025 to 21 May 2025, the MBG program has focused on approximately 3.9 million recipients in 38 provinces in the country.
