Jakarta (Antara)-The Indonesian women’s volleyball national team has secured fifth place of the AVC Womens Nations Cup 2025 after beating Iran 3-1 (25-17, 25-15, 23-25, 25-20) in the fifth rank match in Dong Anh Gymnasium, Hanoi, Vietnam.
Starting with the first set, Yolla Yuliana and his friends tried to play on the defense of Iran. But exactly the attack that is often broken made the Srikandi team behind three points about Iran in the middle of 11-14.
The match became Feler when the Srikandi team was able to get it point by point and to close every pattern of Iranian attacks.
Indonesia can turn the position and close the first set with a victory of 25-17.
In the second set, Indonesia has not reduced the pace of the game. Play makes Indonesia for 14-8 in the middle of the set.
The Octavian team continued to dominate the game and was able to win points per point to close the second set through a 25-15 victory.
Iran now comes in the third set, now appears with a much faster pace and makes it difficult for Indonesia to perform attacks.
Iran was able to win three points about Yolla Yuliana and his friends, 18-15.
In the underdeveloped position, Indonesia had reduced the position to 22-23, but had to recognize Iran’s toughness by a score of 23-25.
In the fourth set, the pace of the game is now mastered by Indonesia, which is under pressure from the start.
Although he had served Iran’s resistance that seemed insistently, the Srikandi team did not lose the focus and got it point by point.
Indonesia closed the fourth set through a score of 25-20. The victory in this set also closed fifth place for the Srikandi team.
