RI emphasizes a strategic role as the gate of the Asean market on Andalusia



Jakarta (Antara) -Indonesia continues to strengthen the efforts of economic diplomacy by emphasizing the strategic role as the access gateway to the ASEAN market on the International Business Forum organized by Andalucía trade in Seville, Andalusia.

According to Andalucía’s trade data, the total value of bilateral trade between Andalusia and Indonesia reached 21 million euros in 2024 (around RP394 billion). This figure shows a very large growth potential.

In the Business Forum, a number of meetings Business-to-business Also carried out, which is expected to be the basis for the development of business cooperation, strategic alliances and knowledge exchange in the future.

A number of representatives from the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Indonesia, who was also part of the delegation, also held a meeting with the Spanish Handelsbureau in Madrid, which resulted in an agreement to sign a memorandum of agreement (Mou).

Concrete cooperation between the two trade offices is planned to take place during the visit of the Spanish Trade office Delegation to Indonesia in July 2025.
