Israel attacks nuclear energy plants in Isfahan, Iran

Istanbul (Antara) – Israeli attack on Iran focuses on the Shahid Raisi nuclear power plant in Isfahan on Saturday morning local time, as reported by the Iranian Republic of Prix Agency, Irna.

Vice Governor Isfahan, Akbar Salehi, said that the rescue team was used immediately after the attack and there were no fatalities who were reported immediately after the attack at the power plant.

Responding to concern about the possibility of radiation sampling, Salehi said that there was no pollution due to the facility that would cause concern.

On Friday (6/13), Israel focused on Natanz and Forto nuclear facilities. Iranian Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI) reports nuclear infection detected in the nuclear facilities of Natanz after Israeli attacks.

“Some contamination is detected in the facility, but this contamination is not spreading outside the facility,” AEOI spokesperson Behrouz Kamalvandi told Iran’s television.
