Istanbul (Antara) – the French Foreign Minister Jean – Handly Barrot emphasized the dedication of his country to recognize the Palestinian state.
Barrot said that when giving a speech during a civil society with the title “Paris calls for the two -state solution, peace and regional safety“Organized by the Paris Peace Forum on Friday (6/14).
France will “maintain the rights of the Palestinian people to determine their own destination by recognizing the Palestinian state,” said Barrot.
“I emphasize here again: apart from the latest developments in the region, France remains determined to do it,” he said, referring to the middle -east.
Barrot added that when presenting political solutions for the Palestinian people, it had arrived.
The issue will be the most important focus of the conference supported by the United Nations (UN) about the solution of two countries, which will be held in New York at the end of this month and are held together by France and Saudi Aarabia.
“This political solution includes the formation of a real Palestinian state with a new government and a strong security guarantee for Israel and Palestine,” said Barrot.
He called for “courage” and “strong mobilization” of the international community to return to the peace route.
He also emphasized the necessity of “immediately ceases -the exemption from all hostages unconditionally, and the delivery of mass humanity assistance and without obstacles for Gaza.”
According to Barrot, the solution of the two countries that were strongly supported by France was a condition for the peace and safety of the region, as well as an international legal obligation, now confronted with a serious threat.
The threat includes “increasing unilateral actions in the field, accelerating the development of the settlement, threats of annexation, deeper hatred and the collapse of the peace process,” he said.
He said that “too many” citizens who suffer from the war in Gaza “who have been going on for too long.”
“We owe the empathy for them and every minute must be dedicated to the realization of a ceasefiring -the fire,” said Barrot.
