Legal enforcement officials must thoroughly investigate the case of the pornographic content of this child through cooperation with stakeholders abroad.
Jakarta (Antara) – Member of Commission III of the Indonesian parliament Abdullah asked for the law enforcement officials to impose a maximum punishment on suspects in buying and selling pornographic content of children with the initials ASF that sold around 2500 videos of pornography of children via social media and online conversations.
“It must be punished to the maximum because the content of the content takes place over a period of approximately 2 years with many children who are victims, making organized networks possible,” said Abduh in a statement received in Jakarta on Saturday.
He then said, “The child who is a victim who is a victim certainly experiences physical and psychological suffering.”
According to him, the circulation of the pornographic content of children is not the first time and is often repeated in the country.
That is why he considered overcome the circulation of the pornographic content of children to involve many parties because it is an organized crime and cross -country.
“This means that law enforcement officials, in particular the police, should thoroughly investigate the case of the pornographic content of this child through cooperation with stakeholders abroad,” he said.
He also asked the police, the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI), at the Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection (Kemen PPPA), and immediately offered protection and recovery of children who were victims.

This, he continued, is necessary in view of the negative impact on children who are victims of the pornographic content are very large.
“This is an important thing that the government or the state should not be ignorant, the protection and recovery of children must be thoroughly and thoroughly performed. If not, the trauma experienced by children who are victims will disrupt their growth to adulthood,” he said.
The legislator confirmed that the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) data in 2022 that placed Indonesia in the fourth rank of the world in online pornographic cases in which children are involved should be treated more seriously.
To save Indonesia from an emergency situation of child pornography, he said, Handling must be more serious on the prevention of the circulation of the content on different platforms and increased digital education or literacy.
“This plays an important role in strengthening the digital resistance of children and parents to pornographic content,” he said.
In terms of supervision, he said, the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi) and the police can collaborate with platforms and online media to filter pornographic content in which children are involved, not to be easily shared.
“While in digital literacy education must be increased by the involvement of children and parents to prevent children from becoming victims and being exposed to pornographic content,” he said.

Previously, the Directorate of Siber Investigation (Ditressiber) of the regional police of Oost -Java dismantled the practice of buying and selling pornographic content of children and he arrested a person with the initials ASF, a resident of Belo Laut Village, Muntok, Bangka Belitung Regency.
Head of the Public Relations of East Java Regional Police Kombes Pol. Jules Abraham Abast in Surabaya, Friday (6/13), said that ASF has spread photos and videos of Kinderporno online since June 2023.
“The suspect uses an Instagram account with the username of @orangtanakalcomunity to promote his telegram channel and his Potatochat application in paid,” said Commissioner Pol. Jules.
Every member who wants to become a member of the channel, he said, was charged with RP500 thousand.
So far it is known that the suspect manages no fewer than 15 telegram channels and one Potatochat application with around 2500 pornographic videos of children with a total of more than 1,100 members.
