Beijing (Antara) – The Chinese government asks that both Israel and Iran can prevent escalation after the Israeli attack on Iran on Friday (6/13) and then answered by Iran on the same day.
“Heating the situation of the region suddenly does not benefit. China asks related parties to choose a favorable action for peace and stability and to prevent further tension -” said spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lin Jian at a press conference in Beijing on Friday (13/6).
On Friday (13/6), Israel carried out a series of massive attacks on a number of military goals in Iran, including various people who reportedly had connections with the country’s nuclear program.

China, Lin Jian said, carefully followed the Israeli attack on Iran and was very concerned about the potential serious consequences of the operation.
“China opposes actions that violate the territorial sovereignty, safety and integrity of Iran, and opposes actions that increase the tension and increase conflicts,” added Lin Jian.
Lin Jian also said that China is ready to play a constructive role in helping to relieve the situation.
As a result of the Israeli attack on Iran,
Iranian broadcast Media Press TV reports that there were victims, including a number of women and children who were killed in the attack, although not specified how much.
The Israeli army stated that their fighter jets had completed the first phase of their attack operation.

Foreign Minister Marco Rubio of the United States emphasized that the air strikes launched by Israel against Iran had taken the unilateral decisions of Israel without any involvement of the US.

He made sure that President Donald Trump and the American government had taken all the necessary actions to protect the American troops in the middle and to maintain communication with regional partners.
