The company of Aarea Iberia has warned about a new fraud that circulates through the WhatsApp Social Network in which they offer free tickets for the participants in the alleged competition on the occasion of Black Friday.
In that sense, the airline has repeated via Twitter and warned about the “high number of reports regarding false and lottery competitions” that they have registered in recent days.
In the message there is a competition to win 5,000 flights for free and a link has been recorded that is diverting to a false webpage that simulates the original of Iberia. In it the participant is asked to send the message to their contacts and pay an amount to participate.
Iberia remembers that all the drawings, competitions and promotions they offer, “are always exclusively published on Iberia.com and encourages their followers in the official profiles of the company on social networks” to warn the company of the suspect content and “not to enter a domain that is not of Iberia.”
