Jakarta (Antara) -Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Sceyo Budiyanto said his party had conducted an investigation into possible corruption in the mining sector before a busy mining problem in the Raja Ampat region, Southwest -Papua.
“The study was indeed in the trial and later it was submitted to the relevant ministries/institutions to be able to mitigate. At that time there was a problem,” said Sceyo at the KPK Anti -corruption Education Center Building, Jakarta, Friday.
That is why he said that the KPK by the deputy for coordination and supervision (KorsUp) made the study that was made to re -fit.
“We will again be detailed with existing problems. One of them has even withdrawn licenses against various nickel companies there,” he said.
He also said that the change in the study was not limited to the Raja Ampat region, but in other regions.

He then said that the KPK would submit the results of a recent study with regard to the potential of corruption in the field of mining at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Environment, to the regional government.
On another occasion, the head of the KPK Korsup Task Force told Dian Patria in a discussion with regard to Raja Ampat, who was followed online on Thursday from Jakarta (12/6), which had identified his party a number of challenges and problems found in the Interior Mining Sector.
In the meantime, the government has officially withdrawn the Mining Business License (IUP) of four mining companies in the Raja Ampat region on Tuesday (10/6).
The four companies are PT Anugerah Surya Pratama, PT Nurham, PT Mulia Raymond Perkasa and PT Kawei Sejahtera Mining.
Withdrawal of IUP is being carried out because it has been proven that four companies violate environmental provisions, as well as regions Geopark Or earth garden.
