Jakarta (Antara) – Qatar and Saudi Aarabia were chosen to organize the fourth round of the qualifications of the Asian Zone 2026, as confirmed by AFC through their official statement on Friday.
A total of six teams, namely the third and fourth arranged teams from the third round qualifications, namely Indonesia, Iraq, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Aarabia and the United Arab Emirates, will be divided into two groups with three teams.
They will compete in centralized formats on 8 to 14 October.
Champion of each group will protect the last two automatic tickets for the 2026 World Cup final.
Moreover, the second place teams from the two groups will face each other in the fifth round or play -off.
The two teams play the game in two legs on November 13 and 18. The winning team continues to the play -offs between Confederations
The official draw for the fourth round group of the Asian World Cup qualifications of 2026 will take place on July 17.
