Jakarta (Antara) – The Indonesian government has reached more than 8.2 million free health controls (CKG) since the launch of the program on 10 February 2025.
The most important expert of the Presidential Communication Office (PCO), Prita Laura, said in her statement in Jakarta on Friday that the performance was still being developed by collaboration of all parties to reach 280 million goallines until 2029.
“In the first year, this program focuses on 60 million people, with a budget plan of RP4.7 trillion compared to the state budget of 2025,” he said.
Prita said, the highest participation came from Central Java, East Java and West Java, which currently contributed around 60% of the total number of participants.
CKG, which is projected as one of the largest health research programs in the world, said Prita, is now being expanded by opening opportunities for the community.
Community organizations, state -owned companies, private companies and even hobby groups now, are and will enjoy CKG together.
From July 2025, Prita said, the School CKG program will be launched to reach up to 50 million
Students at all levels of primary and secondary education.

Prita explained that Indonesia was confronted with a heavy burden of non -transferable diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, stroke, kidney failure – the cause of more than 500 thousand deaths per year.
Early detection via CKG, he continued, is an important step to prevent chronic conditions that are difficult and expensive to be treated.
“CKG is a birthday present from the country. The inspection whose value can be more than RP1 million is now given to every citizen for free,” said Prita.
