Jakarta (Antara) – The Provincial Government (Pemprov) of DKI Jakarta will implement a policy for bleaching vehicles from Saturday (6/14) until 31 August 2025 in the context of Jakarta’s 498th birthday.
“Tax blazing or the elimination of sanctions for fines and interest will come into effect from Saturday (6/14) until the end of August 2025. This policy is in the context of Jakarta and the 80th anniversary of the Republic Indonesia,” said head of the Jakarta Regional Revingue Agency (Bapenda), Lusiana..

With this policy, taxpayers can only pay tax directors without being subject to fines or interest rates. This program is carried out as a form of incentives to make the public aware of paying taxes on time.
Lusiana explained that the conditions applied remained the same as the payment of vehicle tax in general.
“If you have overdue overstalls, what must be paid for the tax director Plus a fine sanction, but with this stimulans only the point pays,” Lusiana said.

Earlier, DKI Jakarta -Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo had also announced a plan to provide a special tax fine for residents who have made payments at the Jakarta jubilee.
“So, the fiscal proven is not given to those who do not pay taxes. Tax differences are given to those who want to pay that day,” said Pramono.
He considered this policy intended as a form of exemption and motivation for the public to be more obvious when paying taxes.
Pramono claimed that there are various special conveniences on Jakarta’s birthday.

In addition to the provision of tax, the provincial government of Jakarta has also drawn up a variety of special agendas in the context of Jakarta jubilee, including free public transport services on 22 June 2025.
