Jakarta (Antara) -PSSI chairman Erick Thohir said that the Indonesian U-17 national team will perform a test match against fellow participating countries on the U-17 World Cup 2025.
“Meeting the Indonesian U17 National Team Manager, Mr Ahmed Zaki and coach Nova Arianto with regard to the preparation of the Indonesian U-17 national team that will fight in November 2025 in the Qatar U-17 World Cup,” Erick wrote Uploads on Thursday.
“In the coming 5 months, the National Team of U17 will carry a number of training camps at home and abroad. Including a test match against the country that will perform at the U17 World Cup,” he added.
Garuda Muda will hold a training camp in the country, exactly in Noord -Sumatra in August. There it is rumor that Indonesia is holding a trial against three countries participating in the U-17 World Cup that has not been called the country so far.

North Sumatra itself also prepares three fields for the U-17 National Team Training Camp, namely the Flower Field, the Fishing Road Soccer Field and the North Sumatra Main Stadium in Deli Serdang.
“We had seen the facilities before, there will be 2 stadiums for training and 1 stadium for the competition. Facilities in Noord -Sumatra are fairly good and pretty good,” said Exco Pssi Arya Sinulingga in Medan last week.
In the U-17 World Cup, Indonesia was in the same group with the four champion Brazil, Honduras and the land of Zambia’s debutant in Group H.
This year’s U-17 World Cup, which arrived his 20th edition, was held in Qatar on 3-27 November. A total of 48 countries participated in this young football tournament. This number has doubled from the previous edition of 24 participants.
Later champion and second place The group, as well as the eight best third places, are eligible for the knockout round, from the last 32 to the final.
