Kibu Green, a Spanish startup, has succeeded in uniting the garden sector and the Internet of Things (IoT). This trade union has resulted in making the KIVI Smart Pot that solves the problem of the death of plants when it is not at home.

This Spanish project succeeds in watering the plants and taking care of them when they are out of the house. “Kivi is not only a device that makes it easy for you to water the plants when you are on vacation. Our idea goes much further. We want Kivi to become a loyal adviser to do the best recommendations that interact with the user and that, for example, rich and funny recipes from Mojitos suggests.

Via the mobile, KIVI enables you to know the status of your crops, whether they are flowers, plants or vegetables, and warns you about the needs of light or moisture they can have. The user is interactively and nicely involved in the care of their plants, learn to take care of them and know new garden tricks.

The launch price of the Smart Pot, with a launch promotion in Kickstarter, is 99 euros and the delivery, to every part of the world, is estimated for November this year.

The company has launched a Kickstarter campaign with an objective of 50,000 euros.
