Jakarta (Antara) – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto stated that the decision to increase the salaries of judges was based on his conviction that Indonesia was a strong, prosperous and rich country
“The salaries of all judges will rise considerably and I will continue to control and all other employees are patient, patient. I have seen the figures. Our country is strong, our country is prosperous, our country is rich,” said Pabowo on Thursday while giving a speech at the 1,451 judge in the Supreme Court building, Jakarta, Thursday.
The president emphasized that state resources should be enforced and managed as much as possible for the interests of the people, in accordance with the mandate of the 1945 Constitution, which is the highest source of law in Indonesia.
In the policy -making with regard to the law, Pabowo stated that he referred to the views of legal experts, including the Supreme Court Justices.
The head of state said that if President was sworn in to implement the Constitution and all legislation, there was no doubt about making decisions in accordance with the applicable legal basis.
“So, if the Supreme Court has confirmed, there is a fatwa, I don’t hesitate. So, the president is sworn to implement the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. I am not hesitant, I will implement all legislation in Indonesia,” the president said.

Regarding the policy of the salary increase, Pabowo stated that the judges received no significant salary increases during the 18 years.
Now the decision was made to increase the salary of the Junior Junior to 280 percent.
According to him, the policy is not a form of indulgence, but a step to strengthen the legal system so that the state budget is not abused by irresponsible parties.
“Today President Pabowo Subianto made a decision to rise the most junior 280 percent, and that did not spoil, the spoiled not rather than the state money was stolen by the unclear beings,” the president said.
The head of state also emphasized the importance of strong and solid law enforcement for anyone who has violated.

Pabowo is of the opinion that law enforcement officials, including the police, the TNI, and the office of the public prosecutor will work to create order and to realize a good legal system.
“With a strong judiciary, with strong law enforcement, I believe that the police will work as well as possible, supports the TNI, the office of the public prosecutor, all the work. We will be fired this country, we will make Indonesia a success because of the good legal system,” the president explained.
Previously, Prabowo Subianto announced the increase in judges to the highest reached 280 percent of the current salary aimed at most junior groups.
The president said his decision to increase the salaries of judges to improve the well -being of the authorized officer to try to decide the case.
“I am Prabowo Subianto the 8th president of the Republic of Indonesia has announced that the salaries of judges will be increased for the well -being of the judges,” said Prabowo.
In his comments, Pabowo said that the judge’s salary ranged, but the highest reached 280 percent for most junior groups.
