Jakarta (Antara)-Indonesian women’s volleyball National team won the first victory in the AVC Nations Cup 2025 by beating Mongolia 3-0 (25-18, 25-21, 25-23) on Wednesday in Dong Anh Gymnasium, Hanoi, Vietnam.
This is the victory of Pentitng Indonesia in group B after losing Iran (2-3), the Philippines (1-3) and Kazakhstan (0-3) three times in a row.
Had left behind at the start of the first set, the team of the Octavian coach turned to 6-5 and after a 9-9 draw, Caca DEVEGA CS raised the attack to leave the opponent with 13-11.
Indonesia continues to keep the points to win the first set with 25-18.
At the start of the second set, not long before Indonesia turned around by 3-2 in Leiden and then widening to 8-6, 15-12 and 19-14.
Mongolia tried to catch up, but Indonesia was difficult to strive to end this set with 25-21.

In the third set, both teams. Indonesia leads 10-7 to 20-17. Mongolian players made a surprise by scoring successive points to equalize 21-21.
A hard peak Shella Bernadetha scored points to reduce the momentum of the rise of Mongolia by leading Indonesia again.
But resistance was still given until the score was back in a draw of 22-22, 23-23. A block sample campaign has succeeded in thwarting the Mongolian attack, ending the third set match 25-23 for Indonesia.
This victory brought Indonesia in fourth place in Group B AVC Nations Cup 2025 classification.
Indonesia has one remaining game against New Zealand that will be played on Thursday on Thursday.
